This program is designed to compute high-precision astronomical almanacs for the Sun and the eight major planets from Mercury to Neptune with an accuracy similar to the published sources. It covers a general time span from 2000 BC to 6000 AD with an accuracy of an arc second or better. It assumes that the user is familiar with the essentials of astronomy.
